This is the story of how Australia got its own unique brand of rock & roll. Blood + Thunder is a tale of two families and the music they made together. The Alberts – an elegant, well-to-do music dynasty, and the Youngs – an unruly clan of migrants fro the tough suburbs of Glasgow. They were from different planets but both had music running through their veins. Their bond was the blood of two families and the thunder was the sound they produced. The Alberts’ sound was tough, raw and unapologetic, a sound that would become an inspiration to millions of music fans around the world for years to come.
Blood + Thunder features the inside stories of AC/DC, The Easybeats, Rose Tattoo, Stevie Wright, John Paul Young and Flash and The Pan.
