The Hangout Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 17-19. It takes place on white sandy beaches, surrounded by crystal blue water and palm trees. The Festival features a diverse selection of top touring artists. It will have five stages and a daily attendance cap of 35,000 people. This year, Hangout will offer more room for amenities, with an abundance of perks for the various VIP levels.
The festival was attended by 13,000–15,000 people per day in 2010. Attendance in 2011 had to be capped at 35,000 per day, an unprecedented number for the second year of a music festival in the region, due to safety concerns.
